I dont know about the OC southern wrecks but we were out between A and B bouy this saturday in search of Threshers and it was just totally void of any life. We drifted over 6 miles of the prime BSB areas and had some bottom rigs down while sharkin and nothing at all. Came back in and tried Site 10 for some flounder and NADA there either. Never marked a fish all day on my sounder.

Water temps were lower this weekend than 2 weekends ago at 53 to 54 degrees and current was rippin. 16 ounces needed to hold bottom.

Was hoping to get out for some BSB intel this week before the opener on the 22nd, but that wont happen now. It will be interesting to see what depth wrecks the Cbass are parked on.

I haven't been C-bassin' since last year (of course) but I hope to on Saturday. It is my experience that they are holed up tight on deeper water structure until a little later in the season. In other words, the best bet will be wreck fishing in 90' or deeper.
