Fla. Ballyhoo

I was thinking that most ballyhoo come from Fla.
Do they come from the Gulf or Atlantic?
If it is the Gulf,will they not be affected by the oil?

More than likely they will not be affected. They have ceased the oil reporting for the keys so the area as of this moment is not affected or projected to be affected. Not saying things can't change after a tropical storm or hurricane. They are caught off the keys over the shallow reefs on both sides.
