I don't think I will believe anything about that buck until I see it in the paper or the news. Maybe an accident report from the police. I am sure if the buck even exsist, then the most "disinterested" person would take a picture of it if it was there dead on the ground. But it is fun reading all the rumors flying around as well as all the therories. my 2 cents......

I am the one that hit it. I mounted A railroad tie to the front of a 78 Blazer. I drove 1/2'' rebar into the rr tie and sharpened the ends. I have been driving those roads in Surry all fall and winter and he finally ran out in front of me. He stuck right onto the front of that truck just like I planned. I wish I would have hit him earlier in the season because his antlers fell off and my tires ran over them. It broke them up pretty bad and blew out one of my mud tires. He was pretty good eating for an old buck. The tenderloins fried up good.[grin]

Look if you saw a picture put it on. To many rumors have spread around. I got a few good reliable sources in Surry I'll check with them. I say that because one of these sources said that the ole boy had already shed one of his antlers back at the end of hunting season

It maybe a big deer that got hit... But I don't believe that is was the ZOOMS BUCK. About 2 weeks before the end of the season some of the local boyz looking for dogs @ nite saw him - one side of his rack... GONE... Will ask Monday nite at the fire house and see what the word is...

Just called the local law... They will see if any auto deer reports have been filed in the past week....

If ya'll can give me a time line to work with here. ( that is when it may have happend...... I'll see what I can come up with..

Yes Bullbuster it is one in the same. I figured you would have found out something buy now there **Dually**. I figured if it got hit everybody in the county would be drueling over the one antler. I guess this is another one of those craxy rumors.
