I'd say ya'll had a heck of a shoot. Nice batch of birds.[excited]
We shot the blackheads pretty good on Friday with a bunch of my buddies including bcw1 from the board. Of course they really get here when the season is over. I hope everyone else had good shoots. Poon

Nice bag poon. Man I miss my ol diver spot on KI. Been having to settle for geese and puddlers the last few yrs up here on the Elk. Though we didnt get frozen out this yr, it was slim pickins on ducks except for the first couple weeks in Dec.
Nice shoot Poon,
We had almost an Identical one that night as well. Considering the weather we had!!!

Thanks again for a great day Poon. We saw some cans early but could not get any to commit.
We nailed some blackheads Saturday morning on the Chester, got a limit for 8 guys. Had one hour of excellent goose shooting mid morning, and then a poor mallard hunt in the afternoon.
Thats a cool picture with the cans and even a banded one! Pbramble, we killed those on the Chester as well at my family farm.
I've seen blackheads hanging around Chestertown, glad someone got into them. We were downriver near Cliff City, across from the mouth of the Corsica.
Hunted Rock Hall / Chester River area Sat and my buddy shot a hooded merganser over mallard coys on our farm pond around 9:30.
Is that unusual?
I'm not sure, but I'm guessing the mergansers were eating the minnows in our pond -- kingfishers have been indulging on them too.
On Harris and Hudson creek the blackheads were non-existant for the last 2 days. I dont why they were heavy all year however as that was the main bird all season. Finished the season with 2 day limits on geese and buffys???
Until next year........ So what is there to fish for now until turkey season?
