pheasant hunt

anyone have any suggestions on a good preserve for a pheasant hunt.i have always gone to pintail point, but its getting a little pricey.

I buy birds from Caroline County sporting preserve for dog training and they always fly very well. They don't net their birds and it makes a big difference!

I have been to Caroline County Shooting Preserve 3 times. Had great hunts each time. Farm is located on route 328. 4 miles west of Denton, 12 miles east of Easton. Phone # is 410-479-3004.

Look up Gunpowder Game Farm in Northern Baltimore County. I used to work there and they run a very clean operation. It is not your typical easternshore "strip" hunt. They have about 400 acres of rolling hillsides with natural cover. It is a first class operation and I promise that you will not be disapointed

Native Shores, just off of Route #50 & Route #213. Great people and a decent hunt - got to be better than Pintail Point.

Just went last Sat. and had a good hunt. We stayed at Bryce Resort to ski, and hunted at Buck Hill Hunting Preserve 8mi. away. This was our 3rd year, and his birds fly really good.

Quail 1-40=$8.00 per bird over 40 $7.50
Chuckar 1-20=14.00 per over 20 $13.00
Pheasant 1-20=$20.00 per over 20 $18.00
Unguided hunts are a 15 bird minimum
Quail=$7.50
Pheasants=$16.00
Chuckar=$12.00
Prices are from last years flyer, may have changed this year. I get a group of 4 together and get a mixed bag of birds for a nice morning hunt. I do not know what other places charge, this is just my .02 cents
