MD Quail Forever interest meeting

We will be having a meeting to lay the groundwork for a MD/Queen Anne's county chapter Quail Forever. The meeting will be held tomorrow 1/5/06 at Ram's Head Roadhouse on Generals Highway (RT. 178) north of annapolis.

If you can't make it, but would be interested in getting on board, please let me know.

I had a good meeting today with Shon Robbins and Jim Inglis, both from Pheasants Forever/Quail Forever. They were very happy to hear that we already have some quail populations on the eastern shore (yep, there are definetly some birds over there!), and we all agree that there is a lot of potential.

We will hold a meeting to officially form the first Maryland Chapter of Quail Forever in early March, details will be forthcoming once they are nailed down.

Pheasants forever has had awesome success in the midwest, as current pheasant populations out there show. You can read more about Quail Forever on their website at http://www.quailforever.org/ please bmail me with any questions.
