Got to the marina at 4:30, loaded the boat and off we went by 4:45. Not to bad starting across the bay but as I went further it got worse. 6 miles from
Cape Charles I had had enough and turned around and headed back. Wind was blowing SW at least 20 with 3-5 footers. Got back in filled up the boat and will try it tomorrow. The weather for tomorrow looks a lot better.

We fished the 26 mile hill Sat. Lots of bait but we didn't get any BFT. Could be there tomorrow since the place holds bait so good luck if you make it out.

We had plans to go there this AM, Wind was still blowing 20kts at the Ches light at 4 AM so bagged it. This tuna season is starting to piss me off.

Wife and I are heading out of Wacha this morning. We may drag our feet to let the wind fall out a bit. I have been listening/watching for reports from 26-Mile area. Based on this weekend's action I'm thinking I'll go to 21-Mile and out to Lumpy instead of 26-Mile. I'll be on 72 if you want to give me a holler.

Tuesday - 3 gaffer Mahi and 1 Skippy. No Bluefin. All the fish came from vicinity of Lumpy. Mahi liked medium hoo with green/yellow Sea Witch.

Wednesday - 3 gaffers Mahi. 0 for 2 on Bluefin (WTF! 0 for 2!). The Bluefin runoffs and two gaffers came at Sam's lump. The last Mahi came at 21-Mile Hill. Mahi still liked the green/yellow Sea Witch and Pink/White mini Islander with medium hoo. Bluefin liked Blue/White Islander with medium hoo way back and on long rigger.

    Tight lines,
    George

CH2 - No doubt you'd brought those tuna to the boat! Long run to Tower A... soon, very soon! Tight lines, George
