Spring Fishing Seminar

The Coastal Conservation Association, Deltaville Chapter, is presenting a Spring Fishing Seminar on April 9. Registration starts at 8:00 am, with the seminar beginning at 9:00 am, at Queens Creek Outfitters, Cobbs Creek. The speakers include: Captain Chris Newsom on saltwater fly fishing, Captain Bob Reed on chumming for strippers, and Captain Don Bannister on flounder fishing. There will be a Q & A session after each speaker. Cost is $20 per person (which includes lunch) -- limited to the first 90 people registered. The lunch menu will feature fresh cooked pork barbeque prepared by Captain Dennis Beard (renowned chef of the December Rockfish Tournament). Lunch also includes cole slaw, baked beans, rolls, non-alcoholic beverage, and dessert. Queens Creek Outfitters if offering special prices on terminal tackle. They are calling for NE winds 15-20 kt on Saturday. Good time to go to a seminar on warm/dry land. We still have some slots open for the seminar.
