    Default Spring Striper Season

It was a great day, out on the boat with my family and my dad wouldnt let us go in until me or my mom cranked one in. Im sure glad we stayed out there because my 330 Penn GTI went off and I picked it up and cranked it in. I cought it on a white umbrela with no weight attached. It was heavy! [smile] The best part was that I cought it right out infront of the house, dad refers to it as his "honey hole". It was my first big Rockfish, lets just say it was mighty nice. Along with my fish we also had 2 others that we had cought before that one. It was a nice day![excited]

Krunch, nice fish. I heard you on the radio the other day. We fished the Potomac near # 9 (like everyone else) and did well. Thanks for the post.

KRUNCH, you look like a possible candidate to be a member of the Northern Neck Anglers Club. If you might be interested in learning how, when, where and with what tackle to catch Chesapeake Bay fish and then participate in the Club's many fishing activities, give me a response on this thread or send me a bmail. You can also ask Mushy about the Club. Dave
