    Default Quick half day offshore report..

    Thats right half day..lol..first time ive ever said hey its nice lets just go..my friend and his wife from ga were in town hes never been offshore..day before i got him 1 out 6 cobia sight casting...so we filled up the tat tuna and left the dock at 10:30am headed to the navy bouys for some quick mahi got 7 so we picked up lines ran to the tip of the canyon put out my marlin spread missed a white one right off the bat..catch a few more mahi then a big wahoo misses my blue marlin bait circles back and cuts it in half..30 mins later catch a white one sneaking in on my short rigger feed him hooked up fight for about 5 mins jump him off..get a few more mahi then a jack crevell on the troll off a bouy time to pick up lines bring them in one by one start pulling flat lines and here comes another white on the short rigger hook him up release 10 mins later or so..pretty good half day trip back at the dock at 6:20pm

    Nice job there Jimmy. You definately can't beat a quick trip like that. Glad it worked for ya.

    great job ! It's days like that will forever seal his fate to the offshore addition. We had a rookie on saveral weeks back and he caught a gaffer and a white and you would have had a hard trime beating the smile off his face with a stick. He kept saying "I caught a marlin".

    Way to make the most out of limited time! No doubt the fish are out there, need to get up and make a trip before the summer is over!

    It is hard to believe just how many Bilfish there have been these past two seasons all the way up & down the line. I love to see them but rarely target them. Even still it seems like most every trip winds up in atleast one or more incounters. Now you boys got it down to half dayers. Cool Stufff right there!!!
    I just got back last night and I'm already planning the next adventure.

    Only the truly ate up understand the maddness.
