Default Still Lots of Croakers - Lagrange

Fished the mouth of Lagrange in about 11 to 8 feet of water. Incoming tide. Most boats were fishing out further and deeper without much activity. Once again I could have loaded the boat. Croakers are chompin'. Caught lots of doubles on shrimp and bloodworms. Moved down to Weeks Flats with no luck. Come on flounder, my freezer is at is max with croakers.

Default Still Lots of Croakers - Lagrange

Thanks for the good report. I am comming down this weekend with some guys from my shop and I plan to fish the same area. Are you anchoring or drifting? These fellows are excited about this trip and I want to give them the best opportunity I can to fill up a cooler. Any other tips will be greatly appreciated. If you are out there on Saturday give me a shout on 68 (SEAWOLFF)

I was drifting but I think if you can mark a good school, throw out the anchor and hold on! Keep the day marker in the mouth of Lagrange in sight and you should catch all you want. Good luck.

I fished that area after work yesterday and loaded up on
Croakers! I was drifting with shrimp on one rod and squid
on another rod. My best results were with the shrimp and in
    about 18' of water.
