First Croaker

We headed to Water View despite the ify weather on Saturday. When we got there the water was a little rough but nothing major. My five year old called it skipping rope with the waves. My father-in-law just took his dramamine. The high tide fishing was slow but productive. Joseph the- five year old- caught his first croaker. When the tide turned though, the tide really turned. We went through a hole of some big'ns. Joseph landed a 15" and 16" by himself-well almost.[grin] Around 6:30, Joseph said. "Dad I can't fish anymore. My wrist hurts too bad." Sounds like he had a good day of catching croaker to me. I know his dad and granddad had a super day watching.

Taking kids fishing is always a blast and gives everyone a lifetime of memories. Must have been great to see him get hooked!![grin][grin][grin]
