    I need to know a good spot on the western side of the bay I could get a good chance at a cobia. Hopefully as far north as possible . I really don't want to run to mouth of the bay in my 20 ft. CC. I keep my boat in Farnam on a trailer so towing it a won't be a problem to get as close as I can before launching.

    I have not yet fished for them specifically or put one in the boat but hooked up with one at the middle grounds while chumming for Rockfish 2 summers ago. Just south of the target ship.

    It was a breif but fun encounter with a lot of fast peeling line straight away from me.
