Three More Perch for the Leaderboard--It Ain't Over Till It's Over

Folks--

What a great Perch Derby this year! Woody has certainly set a high bar, but remember that we live in an epicenter of big WPs, and our river still has some 13.5-15s out there. It ain't over till it's over.

These three (11.5", 11.75", and 11.75") won't challenge Woody's lead, but they'll give me a better string of three. I caught 'em all within fifteen minutes of each other on with the same spinner, wade fishing (no, not in Rays Pond). All released, gently, to get bigger.

Nice fish! I'm afraid to see what the rain has done to the water quality, but I better get casting, regardless, before it's too late. I agree, what a perch derby!....best one yet.

Outstanding JP....especially getting them in such short time. No wonder my buddy Carl loved this place so much.

I know this much, I will spend more time chasing perch here next year.
