Spot on the Rapp. Report

Took my nephew out today to see what we could catch on this NE wind. Started at Butlers Hole with a few spot and some sub-legal trouts. Then we moved up to #8 buoy with only some more sub-legal trouts and a few more spot. Next we went to the Spike area and had pretty good luck on the spot. None of the spot we caught was very big but good eaters. Nephew had a ball fishing and driving the boat plus after we got everything cleaned up we took a dip in the pool. Great day on the water.

Thanks for the report BT. I'm off this weekend to Salem VA to visti my wife's family so I'll have to live thru reports for one more week. We're going to go for a boat ride and fishing trip Sunday of Labor Day - not sure where yet.

anybody else tried the spot? thinking of giving it a try on sunday after the dove hunt on monday
