This thread is to talk about the pros and cons of the Dodge Ram 3500 series for towing

Ok just picked up a used 2007 dodge ram 3500 dually with the 6.7L Cummins with a whole 18500 miles on her. I have only driven here a total of 50 miles and have not towed. I am upgrading from a Nissan Armada. I wanted a 1 ton truck but in SRW. This dually was priced right and I figured for the price of 2 extra tires was well worth it. So far the milage I have seen in those 50 short miles is 19.3 on the high way with the over head lie mileage detector and 13.7 with the say lie detector. Will get hand number when I use the truck more.

So far the pro's are:

Very quite engine.
LOTS of power
very smooth ride for a dually

Cons
Only comes with a factory class 3 hitch WTF!!!!
The mileage is low

I will up date as I go. So far love the truck and can't wait to get the boat behind her!!
