Not Happening Yetl

Got out Wednesday morning 11-3-10. Forecast 5-10 from the SE and 1 foot seas. Greeted by steady 3's and occasional 4's due to 13-15 out of NE. I feel like Charlie Brown in the cartoon kicking the football: I don't know why I keep believing the weatherman. Got to Windmill and decided to give it a go anyway. Put over 3 rods instead of our usual 5 as it was a little too snarly. There were some birds working off and on, the lying or pop up kind. Managed 2 16" fish in 4 hours of trolling. Pretty slow day. Water temp was 59. Did not mark a lot of bait. Saw 2 Omega boats headed down the bay. Worked out the kinks and ready to fish hard when the wind lays down.

Also out on Windmill Bar yesterday. Same thing. Two small ones. It was nice seeing the birds working. Saw a gannet which should be a good omen.
