Thanks for the report! That's the first report I've seen of someone actually CATCHING between #8 and #10!
Beautiful day on the river, so it wasn’t so bad that I nearly got skunked. Trolled from Robinson creek to just below #10 on the incoming tide for about 2 hours. Had four rods out, 3 with tandems in chartreuse, fireball, electric chicken and the forth with a chartreuse daisy chain. Caught one 24” fatty on the 9” chicken in 35 foot of water. Marked a few schools of bait that lit up the finder. Good number of birds in the area but just sporadic diving. Gonna be good on the grill tomorrow night…![]()

I fished wednesday between 8 and 10 for about 5 hours and caught nothing. I also tried between 6 and 8 and did the same. Trolled 5 rods with umbrellas and tandems. Marked a decent amount of bait and saw some birds working but again didnt catch a thing. Was pretty discouraged. Hopefully things will turn on soon.
Thanks for the reports. Hopefully the wind will be kind to us this weekend. Things have to break open soon!
Fished near #6 with dad and caught 2 under slot fish both on chartreuse yesterday. SLOW YEAR SO FAR. Water temperature was near 55. Hopefully won't be long for are migrating friends to show up.
Thanks for the report CWELCH ! That sounds encouraging. I can't believe
that fish hit a 9" Bait! Did you have any smaller baits in your spread?
RappMan - Had 3 smaller baits out, one chartreuse and two fireball in 6". Soon after I got the hit on the 9" I replaced the fireball tandem with a 12/9" chartreuse tandem just in case the cows had arrived. Could have been the depth too of course. I never marked any decent fish. Good luck next time you go.Thanks for the report CWELCH ! That sounds encouraging. I can't believe
