Default Great Day on the Rapp

Weather was beautiful, birds were out in force, and the fish were biting! Nothing big; most were 24-28" but the action was hot!! at times. Picked em up deep on tandem bucktails, mid range on 5" diving plugs and up top on Tomics. Me and a bud had limit in less than 2 hours, put three in the box 26 and two 27s tried for a bigger fish until about 1630 with nothing over the slot so when we picked up a 25" in the birds late we boxed him and headed home. Great time on the River!!!

Thanks for the report - and glad you were fishing AND catching. Any advice on what size Tomics to use? I've tried 7", but haven't had any luck - was wondering what size you used, if you're willing to share. Thanks!

    Waynesboro:
Don't have it with me but I would say it's a 5" charteuse? Has worked well in the past few seasons naked (no weight) and running with 3-5oz in-lines with a 10-15ft leader. Good luck, catch fish I was out this evening from 1600-1800 with no takers, waiting for the wx to improve on Thursday.

    Capt Hook, thanks...hope it helped!!!
