Woody - Nice to see they are still in there.
I went fishing with my good friend Herb on the Severn River and the tide was midway coming in at 8:30am.The wind was light so we left Smith's Marina at Brown's Creek and went to Maynadier Creek. It was a partly cloudy day and the water temp was 52 and we went to the back of the creek. We were using my 1/8oz feather spinner baits in green chart and yellow chart. We were casting it out and letting it sink to the bottom and then retrieving it slowly along the bottom. As long as the tide was moving the perch were slamming the baits. The perch were from 8" to 13 1/4" and lots of them. When the sun came out and the tide stop moving the perch slowed way down. The school of perch were found outside of the creek in 15' of water until its low tide again and then they will come back in the creek to feed.We fish till 1pm and we caught 75 white perch and my good friend Herb only took 39 real nice white perch and all the others we let go.So good luck and GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS...............WOODY
