I've been out a couple of times the past two weeks but not since last Friday. That day we found them about 2 miles out of OC inlet. We also caught a nice one out from the Assateague bridge, probably 2 miles again but only caught one down there. The bait was very scattered there but alot of Gannets around. About 10 days ago did well again about 2 miles out from the Assateague bridge. Both days the bite didn't turn on until around 1 pm. With the wind and cold we've had it's hard to tell where they are now. Perhaps they returned or maybe other schools have come down. Good luck.

start by fishing the series of lumps north of the inlet. they are on the chart. there is a large lump due east of assateague island bridge (its in the ocean) too. look for gannets. both are on any chart. if you dont have a chart, stay home, you shouldnt be on a boat.

Good luck and let us know how you do. Also, don't forget bite might not turn on until late afternoon.
