I go to the Cape from Pa the first week of June. We fish out of a boat and do real well. Room rates are real cheap then. We have been going there for the last 6 years and found lots of fish. There are places to wade fish also.

Perfect timing. Monomoy island is the place to wade. You have to take a Ferry there. Or Lobsterville Beach on Marthas Vineyard near Minemsha Inlet. You want to be on the south side of the inlet. Driving around it take forever. This is mostly a night time bite but big fish and tons of them work close to shore at night. Once the sun hits the horizon, the bite stops dead in it's tracks. For Monomoy island, it's an all day type of thing. The fish come and go with the tide but get concentrated at lower tides. You want to fish near the stronger tides too like the full and new moons. Huge poppers in one foot of water get bit just as well as small like 2 inch sand eel patterns. Most of the bait that time of year is Squip and tiny sand eels which are actually small fish but look like eels.

Where are you staying and what kind of fishing do you like? Blues and bass should be in good by then.
