caught a few tonight

Went out on one of the docks in the neighborhood tonight to see what was biting. Heard talk of some rockfish being caught up by the bridge over the piankatnk so i thought maybe I would have some luck with them. The bite was slow and didnt get any rocks but did manage a 6 pound channel cat and a few nice sized croakers. Hopefully the warm weather and not so cold as lately nights will speed things up a bit this weekend. By the way I have noticed a few croaker this year have sores on them. One big one last night had some and then a small one tonight had a couple on it. Just wondering if the same problems with rockfish can affect croakers as well.

Been trying Glebe Harbor/ Cabin Point area I guess it is near Coles Point on the Potomac I have not caught anything yet but a few small cats.

Maybe I can get some time off from moving to wet a line. It will be nice to have the boat docked less than a mile from the house.
