To help save you time cutting your bait, try a PVC cutter. Red handled grip cutters that snap through anything. Safer and quiker than an open blade. pickem up at the Home Depot or Lowes for 10-15 bucks. You'll love the way it save you time. Also, we electrocute crabs with an old extention cord and 120. IT's super quick and they don't throw their claws. Just wanted to ad some of my tricks. You gotta try the PVC cutter if nothing else. You'll be amazed.

I use a meat cleaver to cut my necks and ice the crabs to keep the claws from dropping. Bow Movements doesn't know what he is talking about. Na he knows I do plumbing work all day and don't want to look at those PVC cutters any more and I hate electricity and water together but it is VERY effective....................Gary

Your line roller looks like mine except I have more space between the hook. I find it works better. Rolls over a little smoother and doesnt knock or bind as much. Love that huge crab. I cant wait!
