    Default Looking for opinion on Nikon macro lenses

    I love take up close photos and more and more, I've been wishing for a lens to bring my focal length in. The Nikon Telephoto AF Micro-Nikkor 105mm f/2.8G ED-IF AF-S VR seems to get great reviews. Is anyone using? It' has a pretty hefty price tag on it, so I want to make sure it's worth that kind of cash. Is there another Nikon macro lens that might be sufficient for the avid (non-professional) photographer?

    You may already have checked it out but Ken Rockwell does a pretty good job at reviewing lenses.
