Thumbs down WSJ report 3/13/11 pm

My baby bird and I briefly hit the Spit to see what was going on and for the fact that it was nice out. Had it to ourselves, but only fished it like 20 minutes as it was 10-15K ENE w/a stout outgoing tide and no fish. At least it was fishable AKA not to much grass.

Figure the Spit could be good this year courtesy of the City of Norfolk's dredging ~ we shall see?! Plan to take my waders next time to do some exploring.

And for those who don't know WSJ is Willoughby Spit Jetty (technically a terminal groin) in Norfolk, VA just east of the southside base of the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel

Now that just sounds WRONG. And painful.
