    Default Crystal River, Second weekend of May.

    I will be meeting some friends there for a couple days of fishing. What will be going on there that time of year? He is thinking Reds and Trout. Will there be any chance of cobia, tarpon, bull reds? I think we will be fishing out of a 17 footer, so we will not be going to far into the gulf. Any help at all would be helpful. Is there any reason to throw a speargun on the boat??? Any shallow hogfish in that area?

    WOW, 29 views and not one word. I am not asking for any spots at all. I was just asking for what I could look forward to catching and what type of gear I should bring.
