Default Eastern Bay Report and MONSTER crab PHOTO

after 3 days of crabbing the EB I can say they have fallen off. I think they are off molting as yesterday we started to catch some paper shells for the first time this year. We were NEVER skunked and caught enough for us for a NICE dinner each time but also not enough to give away which is always my goal.

I have my 5 1/2 year old daughter dipping and she is at 100% so far

    INFO:
    Water Temp. 63 - 64 F

best deapth 6.5 to 8.0 feet

    Incoming tide

Chicken necks over clam? I did not belive it either BUT it's true, atleast for the last 3 days.

Time early am and late afternoon.

Mostly 1's with a few 2' mixed in. 3 Females in 3 days.

    now for some CRAB PORN

    Nice job!!!

Every crab I had but 1, that I had Staurday was packed so full I think the shells were cracking. Wouldn't surprise me if alot of them already crawled into the shallows early to wait to shed.

What is up with that measurement?? The 3" mark starts about 1" in!!!! And if that is 8.75, you have the biggest hands I have ever seen!!!

Ted, You don't have to prove anything to any one on here. You said your crab measured 8 3/4" and I take you for your word. I don't analyze and configure your picture................Gary
