Website Work Needed

Can anyone refer me to a reputable and reasonable website design person or group? We are in need of some new design work - would prefer to work with a group or person who is local and available for regular updates etc.

If anyone has had a good experience for help with this please let me know - we would ask for a proposal and cost estimates initially. Thanks!
