    Default First time in DE this weekend, Lewes and Indian inlet

    I live in baltimore and normally fish the Chesapeake, this weekend I took my first trip to DE to visit my brother who was camping there. I fished the Indian inlet and Lewes canal(too rough sunday for the bay). WHAT A COOL PLACE! I'll be back for sure, caught a bunch of U/S flounder, nothing to keep some bluefish in the inlet but that was it. Apparently a monster school of stripers came through the inlet in the middle of the week.....I just missed it the.... story of my life.

    Does anyone catch keepers in that canal? If so what time of year are your chances best?

    The Lewes canal is full of flounder. A 7 lber. won the Lewes Harbor tournament last week.
