    Default Little Hill Bluefin/Dolphin 6/25

Took my son and son-in-law out of Chincoteague Saturday morning for their first offshore trip. Headed to the Little Hill for some Bluefin action, thanks for the tip Hydro25....

Had lines in about 7:30 and about 15 minutes later the WWB Bird/Green Machine goes off and my son-in-law gets a full dose of pulling in a 40lb Bluefin that has 3/4 of a 50 spooled out. About a half hour later the same line goes down and my son gets his taste of the action. We had one more Bluefin on a purple spreader bar pulled close in on the short rigger and a couple of dolphin on the green spreader bars. Back at the cottage by 2:30

Hey I think we crossed paths coming back into the inlet...I was the 24 World Cat that cheated the channel coming in. Nice work on the fishing.

Yup, that was me Terp, kinda figured someone running that path was a local (or a semi-local). That was where the channel was years ago wasn't it? Running my path between Chinc and Assiteague up to the north end of the Island has taught me that 16 feet of water can turn into 16 inches almost instantly so I don't stray off the beaten path too much.
