Any of yall been fishing lately? This place is dead. I think I just saw a few crickets.

Fished with Darrel and Anthony yesterday on Darrel's boat. Got blanked. (Well I caught two croaker, a sea bass, and a bluefish but that don't count.) We tried for flounder and Sheep. Tide was miserable and it seemed like the Bay was trying to drain itself in one day! At least the company was decent.

Fished the HR the 4th the 3rd, and a few other places. Did see two cobia. One as we were running across in the morning and the other as we were coming back. Couldn't get either to bite. Did see a buddy of mine catch a nice one. Found out later it went 65lbs.

How bout the rest of ya'll? Lets hear some reports! All of them whether you caught fish or not. Let's see if we can run some of these crickets out of here!

I've been covered up working around the house for the last 2 weeks. We got hit with a micro burst that took out my shed and downed the fence on both sides of the yard. Everything is finally back together and the new shed is somewhat organized with what I salvaged.

I went out to the blue water with Rick Wineman and his brother on Monday to try and cure the need for pullage. We ended up with 3 YFT's to 40 lbs, 4 mahi and had a white marlin release. The bite was scattered and the seas were less than desirable for the ride back but that's offshore fishing for ya. Ricks brother Davie earned his expert status for the year with the white.

Was looking to give the bay a shot tomorrow as this heat gives us a break but the WX forecast looks kinda sporty so we're in wait and see mode. A whole lot of east wind in the forecast after that.

Congrats on the pullage. nothing wrong with some tuners. Congrats to Davie on his expert status. Thats sucks about the micro burst, glad you're okay and glad you got all back together. Great report!
