Late Spanish report, Hatteras

Two things:
Fishing - the Point is open, NPS removed the barriers Mon pm. Spanish are down at the end, N side. Heard reports from Wed, caught them off & on all day Thu, water was great. Another run late Fri, even with the wind and cloudy water. Nice fish, 2-4 lbs. White sting silver with green back and silver strips on sides.

Traffic - horrible for anyone heading S on Sat. Heading N at 1:30p, traffic south bound was backed up from the turn-off to Duck all the back across the bridge to about 1-2 mi S of the Cotton Gin. Huge mess. Most of ya'll know to avoid this time on Sat, just a heads up to anyone new to traveling in that area. Need that Currituck bridge, bad!

Thanks for the report we left Portsmouth,va at 8:30 got down to Corolla beach at 1:30 traffic was horrible. Caught roundhead and some
nice spot off the beach on bloodworms.
