SWEET!!
Headed on down to Oregon Inlet yesterday. Was suprised to be one of only two trucks in the parking lot at the fishing center at 0500. I know it was a weekday, but with the good reports and nice weather forecast, expected to see a few more trailer boats... Anyway, we went on out to around the 650 line and put out the spread. Caught a little skipjack right off, then nothing for a while. Trolled around, wandered out deep and found the mother load of bailers. Got a quick limit of those...always chaotic and fun. Found some birds working amid scattered grass later in the afternoon and managed one nice tuna out of three bites. Good times...
SWEET!!
nice catch, congrats
cool day I had about the same a few weekends ago. How deep were the bailers? were they on the line?
Thanks for the replies...Not really sure how deep, just a couple miles out over the edge we ran across a floating log loaded with fish.
How many miles offshore did you run?
Great Day!!!
