    Default Lake Chesdin Info

Guys, I need help. My Bass Fishing Club is thinking of doing a 2 day tournament on Lake Chesdin in June. Never been there and offered to do the research. Where is the best place to launch? I found a public boat ramp in Dinwiddie. Is that the best location? We also need lodging recommendations. There is about 15 members in our club. We need a hotel or cabins that can acommodate that many people as well as good parking for trucks and boat trailers. Need somewhere to plug our boats in to charge also. I don't know if there are any fishermen friendly lodges in the area, with a short drive to the ramp. Any information would be greatly appreciated as always.

The public boat landing in Din. is your best bet. Plenty of parking.

Not sure about much lodging in Dinwiddie, but i know Colonial Hieghts and Chester have plenty of nice places to stay and are about 20-30 min. from the boat landing. Not sure who can accomadate charging. Dances sporting goods is in Col. Hgts. too with a good fishing selection. There is a new Hilton hotel in Col. Hghts.

Good luck fishing, just be ready for heavy boat traffic in June.

I hope your tourney is going to be during the week. You can walk across the boats during the weekend. It's a great lake, but small and very crowded.
