Anyone catching croakers still?

I had alot of luck near Coles Point last month and was wanting to plan another trip in the next few days for some more Croaker. I was hopeing to see some reports, but the weekend weather has not been the best, so the reports are lacking.

Is anyone still catching good quantities of Croaker?

Good on spot north of Coles in 18 ft. of water.

Was down this past weekend, Friday night was decent with croaker and spot.......also the wife pulled in this flounder, was just shy of a keeper though Saturday was filled with smoke from the swamp fire south and rain. I did get a chance to go out for about an hour saturday evening and got hold of a few nice sized croakers. Sunday was smoke and rain again !

We got about 5 on Saturday 8-13-11. Nothing too big but they were big enough. We got them near the whitestone bridge and a little up past meachum near the oyster bed

Well on Tue, with the wind blowing near my house pretty good, I decided against getting out on the river with my boat and decided to proceed with my freshwater backup at Lake Anna. Me and my son got out about 7am to do some fishing for a few hours, and caught 5 total...4 keepers. Might attempt the river again this coming Sunday.
