    I talked to someone today that said that a catfish dropped eggs in his boat...it was a 25lb cat

    I've caught some fish lately that did the same thing. Blues seem to spawn at different times over a period of a month or so. Some fish are spawned out by late May while others seem to still be carrying their eggs well through June. The bright side is that the bigger fish on the Mattaponi and the Pamunkey seem to be biting so I'm sure it won't be long on the James. Last year I was catching good numbers of big fish by June 8th. Hopefully by this weekend the bite will improve.
