Hoping for the best Skip!!
Talk about too excited to sleep.
Here it is Sunday - got a call from a local charter boat captain. He hung up and then lost an anchor on what he thinks is an uncharted wreck. It is near the bay bridge - close to Annapolis , Md.
He went over the snag with a fish finder and saw a 3-5 foot hump with a sharp edge - he thinks the stern of a wreck.
I'm heading out with them on Weds to dive it - but going to be tough sleeping until then.
Too many " what can it be " thoughts will keep me awake. Might be a huge piece of junk washed down from the recent storms - or an old wreck exposed by the same storm.
Wish the viz. would be at least a foot but most likely a near zero " touch / feel " dive. The local waters are still muddy from all the rains.
Keeping fingers crossed it turns out to be some thing cool.

yeah, good luck. That is awesome. Hopefully it is not to deep and you can do lots of recon. Maybe the viz works out and you can do some killing also.
Loop wing - Bottom is only 30 feet but the viz. up here never is good. Rare days it is 2 feet - most days about 6 inches.
After the huge rainfall - I'm expecting near zero.
Rockfish ( Stripers ) are off limits to spearguns - nothing else really large enough to shoot - even if I could see them.
Most times - just a flash of a fish or a big mud puff. Now / then a bump but I try not to think about those.

So....... what did you find? Are you rich now?
Had to postpone trip until Friday due to wind.
Will post what I find.
