I would have killed for 15-20ft of vis a few months ago! It was zero when we went. Do you remember what the water temp was?
Thanks for reporting.
Parked my 23 cc and took a buddy's 24 albemarle as seas were 3-4. Dove the brass spike last sat and had 15-20ft vis.lots of small fish but saw 1 large tog and my shot missed. Saw a sea turtle and a large school of junevile spadefish.lots to see on this wreck when vis is better.vis at second wreck (gulf hustler)was worse from the surface so cancelled second dive. I heard the vis was the same at the triangle wrecks. Water temp was strange and got warmer as we dove so wondering if this is the fall turnover or what. Hoping to dive over thanksgiving weekend(i have thur-mon off) so might be looking for dive mates. Steve

NOT SURE IF MY LAST WAS POSTED SO HERE IT IS AGAIN. wE RAN INTO SNOW/SEDIMENT AT ABOUT 30 FT THAT CONTINUED ALL THE WAY DOWN. SURFACE TEMP WAS SHOWING 66 (FISHFINDER) AND MY DIVE COMPUTER SHOWED 58(IT ONLY SHOWS COLDEST TEMP).
I WAS KNEELING ON THE BOTTOM TO UNTIE ANCHOR SO THAT MIGHT BE THE LOWEST TEMP.I REALY DID FEEL WARMER THE DEEPER WE WENT THOUGH.I WAS WONDERING IF THIS IS THE CAUSE OF THE SEDIMENT. WARM RISES/COLD FALLS ETC.
