    Default Crappie & Flatties ...

I fished with Terrence on Texoma this past week and hoping for better fishing than when I was there last. Well, fishing is still slow but we managed to catch some nice fish. Big fish were tight to cover and would only hit if the jig were held perfectly still. Best depth for us was 5-10' and small fish on anything deeper.

Do you remember the state you caught it in?The reason I'm asking is because I'm trying to figure ot how far north flounder are caught in shallow water during winter.I'm seeing trout and reds caught fromVA. NC and SC but no flounder?.I've seen fishing shows in Flagler Beach Fla. where they catch flounder in winter in the shallows. We used to catch them in NC in the early 70s on Hatteras Island from the surf but I don't think they still catch them there in Jan. & Feb.?
