Default Rapp to #53 at the Cut

Left the dock for the shake down cruise at 315 fish about an hour and caught 4 fish. 22,24, 26,27. Trolling 1 rod, by myself, was an awesome afternoon. Will be back out sunday bright and early

Mike, Cordell, Jeff and I left my house at 430am went to stingray - fished up north from 59a to as far as buoy 62 the first half of the day and caught only three. then about noon we picked up and ran down to cut channel and loaded up until dark. only difference, there was four of us and six rods... non-stop action all afternoon.

no fish over the slot. some slot fish were threw back though.

there were a few people reporting some 34"+ fish on the radio - not many though.

We fished the Cut Channel area Saturday also and had a great day.
I had a 5 rod spread and we had several multiple hook-ups. The last pod of
working birds that I trolled thru around 2:30 produced fish on 4 rods at
once........now that was FUN. We didn't catch anything over the slot , but
all fish were fat and Healthy! I didn't see any sores on them and they were
packed full of 6" Menhadden. We caught 3 fish on a Stretch 25 and the
rest were caught on small white bucktails.

I wish we could get out there, the bay was a little too rough for us this weekend. Sounds like a blast. Our fish all looked healthy too. How far out was your stretch 25 rappahannockman? I tried stretch 25's and a 30 from 150 to 200' and nothing hit them all weekend.

Stretch 25 was hot again today at the cut. I run mine back 300' if I'm not fishing around alot of traffic.

At least with the stretch 300' feet back maybe it won't be able to hunt down your other lures.
