Does anyone know how to alter a stretch lure som when you are pulling it, the lure will run to one side over the other. I think you alter the bill?????

1. Use pliers to bend the "eye" in the opposite direction from which it's going off track.
2. Use a loop instead of tying tight, or crimp a loop.
3. Slow down.
I was going to add something, But Rory hit it from every angle. I would just go in opposite order when trying to correct your problem. Try slowing down first, I always attach "jerk baits" with a loop or a strong snap swivel, Last resort bend the eye a little bit at a time.
Hate stretches, never seen one run straight. Having said that, they do catch fish, got a whole bucket of them in various forms. Rule #1, don't let a rookie decide to drop one back in the spread, you'll be untangling that crap for an hour or so. Rule #2, run that thing WTFB, I mean like 250-300 feet. Orrrrrrrr, break out them old cisco kids your dad used to use, they can be tuned to do pretty much anything you want. My go-to is an old cisco husky in red and white. Better yet, red and white or green tomics with about 15 feetof leader and a 3-4 ounce inline on the way back, deadly! Go get em!
