    Default 11/25 Report

Headed out to Little Gull at sunrise, got scared off by some netters, lost a bunch of gear last year, dont want that to happene ever again. Ran to Fenwick Shoal, not really any good marks, no birds working but alot of boats out there. - went 2 for 2 on big Blue's around 17 lbs- one on a Sand eel umbrella rig and the other on a Chartreuse stretch. - no stripes unfortunately. Headed back towards OC looking for any signs of life.. nothing. Called it a day around 12:30. Be back for more tomorrow!

pdoc33.....Good job on the blues. I was at LG and saw the nets. They pretty much had the area covered up. I ended up running way south....probably 5 miles below the sliver. I found plenty of diving gannetts but not really concentrated. I was hoping the stripers would turn on late in the afternoon like they did this time last year but got a call and had to go in. This is the only area I found gannetts. We will be back out there tomorrow afternoon.

Headed out to the 2nd lump on the 26th and only had 4 bluefish to show for the effort. We marked allot of bait but there wasnt a whole lot of action. Giving it another shot on the 11th and 12th. Now that some additional time has passed I'm hoping the water has cooled off a bit and some of the Stripers up by Del Bay have made their way down after some of the bait by OC. I'll post my results.
