Default Smallmouth fishing in the Port Deposit area

I have been laid up most of this year after several surgeries. Has anyone been fishing the Susquehanna River in the Port Deposit area for smallmouth bass, if so how was the fishing?

I am surprised that there are not more post on this site about bass fishing.

I know this is an older thread but I just saw your post.
    I hope your healing well.
I like fishing there for smallies, not that I do very well, but the dirty water is a big negative on me even trying this year very much.
When the water is in the low 40's it's supposed to be the time to be there, I have read.

I agree, this bass fishing board is hardly ever used by most.
I wish it was more active.
