    Default Fishing the Marco Island area next week. Any tips?

    Heading to Marco Island after Christmas. Decided not to bring my boat. Want to fish some surf, bridges, or piers. I have never fished Florida. Can you guys give me some tips as to what are the predominant species this time of year, and what tackle/tips you could offer would be greatly appreciated. I'll probably bring my Stradic's, and Avet conventionals. Thank You in advance.
