Great photo and fine fishing. I'm not sure I would want to bring a fish that large aboard my kayak in cold water conditions. Nicely done.
My buddy jason and i caught 7 citation blues today on the james the smallest was 39lbs the biggest was 47lbs all caught in the kayak.probly caught 50 fish all together

Wow! That thing is huge! I'd like to catch one of those big blue cats one of these days...
Another fish from the other day the scales said 44lbs but there was still about a foot and a half of the fish on the kayak that i could not lift up without going to shore
WOW, Nice Job.
Sea sickness is making the boat payment every month
Congrats on the stellar day. Great pics, too.
Anadromous fish come and go, but catfish stay forever.

How far is this spot from baltimore? I have 1/2 dozen salties that I've been keeping alive in my aquarium for several weeks that I need to use soon...
Nice work...you catching them closer to Richmond or down around Hopewell? (Not looking for exact location). Fished Dutch Gap Saturday with cut eels but only got one 22" striper.
Closer to richmond between ancarows and osborne, try the cuts on the outside of wingdams all of them hold fish
