Looks good. I would try it. If there is to much fall of to the left, you can always add a second transducer opposite the first one.
That's what I did.
Just got done running the cables, mounted the black box and now I trying to decided where to put the Lss1 transducer.
The transducer on the right is my old Garmin 147c It still works, decided to keep it as a back up since it has GPS, didn't want to remove it.
To the left is the 2d transducer and then the LSS1 below it.Guess I will get some interference from the outboard on the right with the side scan.I have some tape holding it up for the pic so it not perfectly straight.
What do you think-will it work?

Rodger-- is your old Garmin ducer a tru hull?
Is that what I'm seeing just to the left of the Lss-1 ?
you might get some "unclean " water if you are too close to that.
Also-- the closer to your WST the better with the Lss-1 for more overlay accuracy if that's important to you.
Other thing, looks like our hulls are about the same, mine is 15 Deg. at the transom. To get all your lss-1 in the water you put a little more of the one side in than you would like. You look like your's is just right,I had to do the same thing.I turned mine around to lessen the roosertail from all that water hitting the cable. I didn't like the idea of all that water constantly trying to infiltrate the ducer. If you turn your's around don't forget to do the electronic toggle and revers left and right on your set-up menu.
Let us know how it works out.

Cobb,Wen. Thanks for the advice.
Wen,what your looking at is the intake for a livewell,I moved the Lss over as far I could.I hope its not a problem but I figure I will be going at slow speeds when using the SS so I hope the disturbed water will not be a problem. My Garmin ducer is on the other side.
Good idea about flipping the Ducer I may just do that.
If I move it closer to the WST- how close should I go?I know the instructions say under a foot for overlay.Would you mount it closer?
Wile I'm at it I decided to buy a Terminal block and run all my electronic off it separately instead of hooking them together.Ill connect the yellow from LSS to yellow from HDS but go thru a switch (spare on my console) so I can turn it off even if the HDS is still on if I want.
Plus this way I can get rid of all the inline fuses too.
I have had the HDS for almost a yr now, decided to Waite on the SS .I cant wait to try this thing out, lots of structure I want to check out.I will post some results later this week, looks like I have some time in between rain to get er done!
Thanks for your help!
I used three total of those terminal blocks. Really makes everything neat and easy. Sense I did it all myself I know how/where everything is wired.
Rodger,
I have mine mounted about 8" apart. You don't have to worry about crosstalk from the transducers, but if one of the ducers was causing a water turbulence that was impacting the other ducer you might have a problem. I think unless you almost had them right together you shouldn't have anything to worry about.
You know, it looks like you could move it over just on the other side of the bunk and it would be further away from the livewell intake.

Cobb,I picked up the 6 bank today,They are made pretty nice and I like the idea of have everything separate from everything else.
These electronics get expensive.Pretty soon all this stuff will exceed the cost of my boat
Wen,had to hold off on the rest of the install, raining pretty good now.I'm going to go ahead and do like you said and mover over to the other side of the bunk, was worried about the intake from the Livewell too.
Thanks Again
Sounds like you are all set-- all that's left is to send us some nice screen captures--with numbers !!!
