Where are you located. I have done them before by boiling the head but it is a hell of a mess. I am having Jason Poole do one with beetles and he charges $90.00. He is located at 410- 795-4670. 2060 Bollinger Mill Rd. Finksburg, MD 21048................Gary

i am in courtland va. i have had several done and i like the beetles the best. i know several boys in this area that do it but it dont look as good when the beetles have at it. my ten yr old son has killed a 11pt which im getting mounted for him and has killed 2 8pts that i want to get the european mount done.

It is real easy to do it yourself. You can see it on you tube. Cut the back of the skull off (cut behing the ears). Skin the head. Rinse any blood clot out of the nasal cavity. Scoop out brain. Boil for 2 hours, preferably outside on your grill side burner. Peel off membranes and pluck out eyes, remove meat etc.

Ronald,I know a guy that uses the beetles.He started a business and is doing alot of them.Call me when you get a chance and I will find a contact number.He is in Suffolk.He also will mount them on a board.

thanks jamie.the bettles are the trick.im gonna go broke mounting deer.carter has killed 3 bucks. a 11pt and two 8pts. chase killed his first buck of the year today. a nice 10pt.we gonna mount the 11 and the 10. u going to the reunion sunday. we are planning on going
