Visit from Virginia to Key Largo

Hi all

I'm visting Key Largo from VA on the weekend of Jan 13th and 14th and hoping to do some ocean fishing on a charter / head boat with my cousin who lives there. Can anyone recommend any good boats?

You will not find much if anything on Key Largo. You will want to go to the Matecumbe area at least. It is a reasonable distance from Largo.

I myself guide out of Islamorada, it is only a 20 minuted drive from key largo. This time of year there is great fishing in the everglades and we have about a 45 minute ride from the marina I go out of to reach that area. There is also good fishing in the bay which again is anywhere from 15 to 45 minute ride from there too.
