Buddy and I fished with a few hundred of our best friends around buoy 38 today. Wind forecast on CBOF was right on. Beautiful day for December 29. Caught both of our overs, 35 and 37". The 37 acted very unrockfishy. He took 3 good runs when he saw the boat. Released a fat 33" slot fish. Lots of boats probably sent the fish deep so there were no birds working all day. Caught 2 on mojos and one on 5oz parachute tandem. I am done for the year. Good, not great 2011, but way better for me than last year. Water temp right at 50deg.
